WHO WE ARE

The Endometriosis support group Nigeria (ESGN) is a non-profit organization committed to raising awareness on endometriosis, providing help and support for women living with endometriosis in Nigeria and Africa at large.

Affiliated to the World Endometriosis Society, the foundation has been positioned as a global standard advocacy group for engaging, educating, empowering and effecting change in Endometriosis support in Africa.

The foundation in partnership with Nigeria’s Leading Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Centre, Nordica Fertility Centre has embarked on various initiatives such as Institutional collaborations with leading global scientists, physicians, researchers, surgeons and societies including IVI Clinic in Spain, Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery, America Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopy (AAGL), German Endometriosis Scientific Research Foundation (GESRF) and many others.

Through its initiatives, ESGN places emphasis on the critical importance of early diagnosis and effective intervention while simultaneously providing education to the next generation of medical professionals and their patients.

WHAT WE DO

ESGN offers both online and offline activities including social media campaigns, annual walks and events to support our cause and raise funding for endometriosis research.

We provide resource, knowledge and up to date research to those interested and affected as this allows them to make more informed decision about care plan and treatment for endometriosis.

We empower those suffering from this condition to speak out, share their stories so others can recognize their symptoms early, end the silence and triumph over endometriosis

We partner with individuals, corporations and institutions who provide the financial and human capital that allow us stay committed to the cause.

To improve the lives of people affected by endometriosis and work towards a future where it has the least possible impact on those living with the condition.

A future where Endometriosis has the least possible impact on those living with the condition.
